English Language Challenges Hi everyone! today I talk to you about of my class of English and its four courses that I took. I have told them, that I did not have a good education in the elementary education about English, and for this the English of University was an opportunity for learn everything that I did not I learn…. But… it was not what was waiting, because, I do not know if it is for the program or a bad system but I have spoken with classmates that I shared the courses of English, and they share the opinion that University's English is very poor or the system of learn is bad. So, I feel that I know exactly that I know in the school. Specifically, the blogs, it has allowed me to improve my vocabulary and draft, however, it is not a very attractive dynamic, because you can do the blog in our house, and we do other thing in the class, to take advantage of the resources that a class can give you and that are not available in the home. I think that to reduce the workgroups at the expense of a teacher is a good idea, since it is much more personalized and who we go in disadvantage we can progress. Out of the English classes, it serves me for the subjects that have papers in English, like also in my daily life to understand letters of music, and since the language has been widely disseminated there are several announcements in some parts, I can understand.

Damn Ranking!

Hi everyone, today I talk to you about of Damn Ranking!! that have affected to all student community of the School of Government of the University of Chile.-

Since that I into to University, the topic of the ranking, is talk constantly, all the beginning and end of the semesters is a sure problem, because no one is happy with this system.

This system consists in your grades multiplied by your credits, so while, you have better grades in subjects that have more credits , your will occupy a better position, this favors the merit.

On one side, which has the best grades, they appeal to this effort , but in other side, which has different grades, they appeal to the teachers and his different forms of teach, and this concerns of the results.

For this, is that a group of the School of Government organized for change the ranking, and adds criteria of happiness, so, in agreement of what subject (or teacher) makes you happier. Also, the grades will not be a parameter for decided your teacher, doing a more equitable choice.

However, continue different posture about ranking, because those who were beneficiaries now feel neglected…

The Curriculum

Last year, began the new curriculum for the student of the School of Government of the University of Chile, which enforces the areas of investigation because adds two new subject such as social sciences epistemology and methodology for Public Administration in comparison to the old one which had only one subject of investigation

Summer Vacation (Holidays)

Hi! Today I talk to you about of my future summer vacations that I really need with urgency, this semester have been really hard, all the test, activities and investigation have diminished to only two months, with all academic stress.

I only hope to enjoy my vacations, work, save money, and going to the beach or countryside, or anywhere far from the city.

I have thought in work for first save money, for this, a dear friend obtains for me, a job in the municipal swimming pool of Maipú, as lifeguard, because I have certificates of the first aids and courses of swimming.

After this, I thing enjoy my money, and will travel to the beach as first option, I really love a beach that always went when I was child; “Punta de Tralca”. I like this side, because combine the forests, hill and beach, so you can to cross the forests in the morning, ride a horse, or to go out to run or only to walk. And in the afternoon, go to the beach to swimming and few more late, you can see the sunset. …….And obviously, in the night you can go to the disc and pub, and enjoy the night life of “El Quisco”, or of some beaches that are near, for example; “Algarrobo”, “El Tabo”, “Isla Negra”.

In this vacations, I would like share with my family, especially in “Punta de TRalca” because is a side full of family memories, but I would like share with my friends, too.

My hobbies

Hi, today I’ll talk to you about my hobby that I do in my free time and something I like to do.

Since this year, 12 of September, I entered to Firefighters and it has turned in my hobby. But it is more than a hobby, because it implies responsibility, compromise and social vocation.

In these months I have had to left commitment and things that I like to do for enjoy my free time, without worries.  But I decided be part of noble labor.

Since I entered, I have to fulfill obligations. I have to participate in all “Academies”, that are days where all the members of the company have to do training, exercise debilities and strengthen the teamwork; sometimes we cut some cars that donate some companies of scrap and practice rescue of persons in a situation of accident, too.

Also, I have to accomplish with a night guard, every 2 weeks, because our company has 3 guards, 2 of men and 1 of women, so, 2 weeks the guard is of men, and 1 week is of women. The guard consist in accomplish with a schedule, in the week is from 00:00 up to 6:00. So I sleep all the week in the company, where we wait help to people during the night.

Also, I go there all days that I can. We have installations where I can study, so I generally after university I go to the company.

Hi to everyone again...

Today I will talk to you about of postgraduate course that I would consider study in the foreign.

I have not an especially goal about of future studies apart of finish my actual career, and have a work that have relations of public administration, I have other intentions. But, if I have the opportunity of travel to other country in the foreign, I apart of useful of enjoy the place, and to cross the most possible, I would have the intention of learn the language.

The language has been a challenge always… and I have proposed learn, does not matter how hard it is for me.

It is for this, that before of go to the country in the foreign to study, first I going to learn a language…. Especially English… It is a language that since the primary, I had not a good base and this has followed me since now.

I think that learn English is crucial, because if I do not understand what people are talking to me, I think that learn or have classes of something technical would be really difficult. Maybe I’ll like to do some English Course. It could be useful too cause, as I said in my video, I would like to dedicated myself to work (in the future) to tourism.

My Future Job

Hi to everyone again, I am glad much that again they visit my blog. Today I talk you about of my future job, that is, the future job that I wish…

Despite that today I am studying public administration, I have a wish, a dream… Really I would like to live in the south of Chile, and to achieve this, I think work a onetime to save money to begin a business tied to the tourism.  The idea, is to deliver a service from housing up to adventures for the sector.  But for this I need from a lot of effort and work…. and money!

I have thought in some places, for example, Valdivia, Puerto Montt, Hornopirén, Puerto Varas, Chiloé… and others cities and peoples, that are wonderful.

Something that has me very satisfied is that my dad is very enthusiasm with idea, and he proposed me work whit me when I begin my business.

I think that this business will allow me enjoy of the nature, live in the place that always I have dreamed, to move away from the stress of the capital, the pollution, it will allow me to enjoy the complete day, and not to live purified, since it is the bustle of the capital.

Well,  in this I hope to work to future, and you?

My favorite Singer

Hi! Today I talk about of my favorite singer, despite that I am not a person that have fanaticism to things, celebrates or important dates, only like me some tendencies. In this case, I going to tell about to Ricardo Arjona and his style of music. 

I usually listen to romantic music, it relaxes me and like me because its letter is very nice.

My favorite exponent, Arjona, had sing so reflexive, despite that some people dislike his music, because talk generally about love and situations a few prissy, but talk about social topics, too, for example, racism, homosexually, immigration, religion, psychology, etc. But all people are different and we have different preference.

Well, already you advert….. I tell you about Arjona..

His true name is Edgar Ricardo Arjona Morales; he is singer that writes his own songs and musician. He was born in Guatemala, on January 21, 1964; and his songs they go ballads, Latin pop, rock, rock pop, between others. The Arjona’s inspiration was born in authors since Pablo Neruda and Gabriel Garcia Marquez. He has had a very successful career, his disc are very recognized around all Latin community.
